Yes, that was $24.95 for the thermometer thing, $4.50 for the card, plus that sales tax we all love to pay.
 Now that's not counting the 3 miles back and forth to the pharmacy. At the price of gas these days!
There has got to be a cheaper way to do this I grumbled. Well at least I remembered my sister's birthday, unlike the last year when I completely forgot it. Only to be reminded 2 days later when a friend asked about my sister.
